Food Vendor Application [download form]RAGBRAI®, The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state. Heading into its 36th year, RAGBRAI is the longest, largest and oldest touring bicycle ride in the world. RAGBRAI is sponsored by The Des Moines Register and will bring over 15,000 riders and visitors to LeClaire on July 26, 2008. With your participation, they’ll enjoy great food, music and entertainment.
Complete the bottom of the form and send it along with the following by June15, 2008:
- Two Checks:
(1) For the full vending fee amount (including electricity fees)
(2) $50.00 check for cleanup deposit. - Copy of your food permit –Contact Scott County Health Department 563-326-8618 or download an application at: http://www.scottcountyiowa.com/health/food.php
- Copy of your insurance – Minimum coverage of one million dollars
- Photo or drawing of your set-up or concession vehicle
- Copy of your menu with prices listed with and without RAGBRAI wristbands
Vendors required to charge and post lower priced items for all RAGBRAI official registrants wearing RAGBRAI wristbands.
Vendor Fees: 12 x 12 Space
LeClaire Only - $200
Outside LeClaire - $750
Include a separate $50 check for clean up deposit.
Electricity Fees: $25 per 12 x 12 space
You are responsible for obtaining proper food permits prior to the event, paying sales tax, supplying own water hoses (minimum of 75 feet) and electrical extension cords (minimum 75 feet), cleaning up your site, dumping your trash and leaving your space clean. Your $50 clean-up deposit will be voided after your site has been inspected by an “Official”.
All tents must be weighted and not staked.
Assigned space is for concession vehicles/tents only.
Cars, Vans, Trucks and other vehicles and/or equipment will not be permitted to park on site. We appreciate your cooperation!
