Bicycles on Parade!
Come and experience the creative minds of LeClaire gearing up to RAGBRAI on Saturday, July 26, 2008!
Starting July 12, 2008 bicycles will be set out in downtown LeClaire and throughout the LeClaire RAGBRAI route to show our community’s growing excitement of bringing RAGBRAI to LeClaire for the FIRST TIME ever!
A contest is available to those that are willing to take a step out of the ordinary and create a bicycle so unique that it will never be forgotten! Individuals may vote for the bicycle they think was most creatively decorated along the parade route. A cash prize will be awarded to the individual who went above and beyond his or her creative strengths to achieve the honor of being the first LeClaire Spokes & Ropes winner for their bicycle displayed.
